Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Torus Health website and your engagement with services provided by Gareth Cox through Torus Health, including discovery calls, coaching programmes, academy content, and related communications.
By accessing this website, booking a consultation, purchasing a programme, or otherwise engaging with our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or our services.
Scope
These Terms apply to all services provided via Torus Health, including:
- Complimentary discovery calls and paid consultations
- Functional health coaching programmes and ongoing support
- Educational academy content for practitioners and patients
- Session blocks, programme packages, and related booking services
- Newsletters, website resources, and digital communications
Nature of services
Torus Health provides functional health coaching, education, and structured clinical guidance focused on root-cause investigation across structure, biochemistry, nervous system regulation, and lifestyle design.
Our services are coaching and educational in nature. They do not constitute medical diagnosis, emergency care, psychiatric treatment, psychological therapy, or legal advice. You should always consult an appropriate licensed healthcare professional for medical emergencies, diagnosis, or treatment decisions.
Any guidance, protocols, or recommendations are provided in the context of a coaching relationship and should be considered alongside your existing medical care where relevant.
Eligibility
By engaging with Torus Health services, you confirm that you:
- Are at least 18 years of age
- Are legally able to enter into a binding agreement
- Are responsible for your own wellbeing and decision-making
- Will provide accurate information relevant to your enquiry or programme
Bookings & payments
Bookings are made through our website, scheduling platforms, or by direct agreement. Access to paid services, programmes, or session blocks is confirmed only once payment has been received in full, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Prices, programme inclusions, and payment terms are displayed at the point of purchase or confirmed before work begins. We use secure third-party payment processors and do not store full card details on our servers.
Failure to attend a scheduled session without reasonable notice may result in the session being charged in line with our cancellation policy communicated at booking.
Cancellations & rescheduling
We ask that you provide as much notice as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment. Late cancellations or missed sessions may be charged at our discretion, particularly where a time slot cannot reasonably be refilled.
Programme-specific terms, including refunds or pauses, will be communicated at enrolment. Unless otherwise stated, digital academy content and completed session blocks are non-refundable once access has been granted or sessions delivered.
Client responsibilities
You agree to:
- Participate honestly and take responsibility for implementing agreed actions between sessions
- Inform us of relevant changes to your health, medication, or circumstances
- Seek urgent medical attention where needed, rather than relying on coaching for emergency situations
- Use website content and academy materials for personal or authorised professional use only
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Torus Health and Gareth Cox shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from your use of the website or services, including loss of income, opportunity, or data.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is not permitted.
Intellectual property
All website content, programme materials, academy resources, branding, and methodologies shared by Torus Health remain the intellectual property of Gareth Cox and/or Torus Health unless otherwise stated.
You may not copy, distribute, resell, or commercially exploit our materials without prior written permission.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
For important health and service limitations, please also read our Disclaimers and Privacy Policy.
